Apr 3, 2023Specialized Crux 56cm (2x, 17lb!)
$5000 USDRe-listed. OBO.
For sale is a 56cm Specialized Crux in excellent shape. 17.x lbs gravel bike!
I bought this bike new in January 2022 in the "Comp" spec.
I rode it last season as a gravel bike with a 1x SRAM drivetrain, different stem, wider tires, etc. I ran it with a 44c slick for most of last year... Amazing gravel bike!
Last fall, I decided to sell my mountain and road bike (SL7, Epic Evo) and keep this one as a "one bike solution". At that time, I re-built this bike from the frame and wheelset up at a cost of nearly $4k at Hilltop Bicycles in Summit NJ (now a Specialized retail location). I purchased and had installed a SRAM Force groupset, 2x - new brakes, rotors, full drivetrain, etc. I also had a brand new Roval Alpinist combination bar-stem installed - almost purely because it looks cool (it does, its light too). It clears up to a 47c tire (mountain bike sizes!), and still does in this configuration. At the moment, it rides on 30c tires - and handles like a road bike!
Notable that the bike has a Quarq power meter, Hammerhead mount, and cages. AXS batteries and chargers as well. No nickel and diming - All will be included with the sale.
I did not ride this bike as much as I thought I would. I have roughly 150 miles on it in this configuration. Dealing with a medical issue that is keeping me from riding. Time to move on... I plan to sell this and buy something new once I'm cleared to ride again later this year.
The bike is in excellent condition and really just needs someone to make the most of it this road/gravel season!!
I prefer not to ship - but if I do, all shipping costs will be at the buyer's expense. If the ad is up, the bike is for sale.
Build summary:
56cm Crux frame (new 1/2022, never registered)
Zipp 303S wheels
SRAM Force Quarq Power Meter Crankset
SRAM Force AXS 2x drivetrain
SRAM Force brakes, rotors
Roval Alpinist stem/bar combo, 110mm
Wolf Tooth purple accents and Supacaz purple bar tape.

Oct 21, 2022S-Works Tarmac SL7, 56cm
$6700 USDSuper fast, super capable 56cm Tarmac SL7 for sale. Limited edition S-Works frame, probably the coolest frame offered for the SL7!
This frame color was only available in frame-only, so the bike was built up using parts by the previous owner. Previous owner used this bike as a Zwift bike, believe it or not. I purchased it from him and have ridden it roughly 1,500 miles. He was the original owner. Build is as follows:
Swissside Hadron Classic 48.5mm wheels, DT Swiss Hubs, on GP5000 tires.
Quarq PM
R8000 ultegra di2
52/36 chainrings
11-30 cassette
40 cm aerofly 2 bars
120mm tarmac stem.
The frame is flawless, it has not even seen a chain drop in my ownership and was obviously used on the trainer in Manhattan by the previous owner. Happy to share more photos of anything specific a buyer would like to see. I included a photo from the previous owner's listing - his Zwift setup!
