Building The World's Lightest 29er DH Bike With Dangerholm
"we're still seeing several top riders on these narrow rims. I've never heard anyone actually answer why" Ive heard MANY people answer why... it puts the pinch patch directly under knobs rather than sidewalls. Ive seen some rim manufacturers revert their DH and some EN/Trail hoops to 28mm lately for this reason.

Video: First Look at the Proving Grounds Rampage Qualifier Course
i read all this before watching the video, then i watched it and didnt notice any old growth or hardwoods and immediately calmed down. If it is just the pines that seem to be in the background then they are renewable and even with out humans, clearing patches of them was part of the cycle.

Overall Standings: Val di Sole World Cup DH 2019
QUESTION: Are protected status riders required to race if they aren't injured?. What happens if Lenzerhide settles the points and we have an over all winner like last year and atleast a certain top 5 regardless of order... do racers just toss in the towel on the final ESPECIALLY being post-worlds? I am wondering how the turnout is going to look for Snowshoe! I cant see a bunch of people justifying the cost to stay in North America after worlds just to race for a stab at 35th place overall.
