Video: Magura Launches Fabio Wibmer Signature MT5 Brake
I would be willing to be a lot of money that people stripping the screws on the lever clamp never bothered to read the installation instructions properly that state - “First tighten the upper clamping screw (2), then the lower one (3) with tightening torque of 4 N·m (35 lbf·in). The clamping screw is in contact at the top, there is a gap at the bottom! The brake lever can be rotated by hand when forced. It is advanta- geous if the brake lever can rotate in the event of a fall. This reduces the danger of irreparable damage to brake lever or handlebar.“ It is not designed to have equal pressure applied by the lever clamp! Always nip up the top bolt first and use the lower to apply enough pressure to lock the lever on the bar.

Video: XC Meets BMX? Dangerholm’s Completely Custom Scott Spark
This is more like the anti-bmx. Carbon, electric components and wagon wheels are everything the bmx world doesn’t want. Just look at Ruben Alcantara’s latest full suspension bmx build.

I was thinking exactly the same. Theres not really anything about this that screams bmx. Maybe if it was a steel frame like Starling / Swarf with some profile cranks and high rise bars.

The Pinkbike Podcast: Episode 4 - Why is Every Bike a Trail Bike? (and Kazimer's Anime Body Pillow)
@TheR: To play devil's advocate - Sometimes fat waisted skis can be fun to charge through chop and crud, especially off piste. A good skier can still ski fat skis well in poor conditions. Same as a skilled bike rider can manoeuvre / ride a bigger enduro bike in mellow terrain. Obviously you will have guys skiing 120 underfoot, that can barely control 90 underfoot skis, same as you have guys riding long travel enduro bikes, that can't bunny hop and barely have basic bike control skills.

Lululemon Releases 'Wilderness' Collection with Moto (& Bike) Capabilities
Fox Defend Kevlar Pants - $222.38, Fox Defend Delta LS Jersey - $117.70, Fox Flexair Pro 3L Jacket - $392.48 = $732.56 (Prices take from JensonUSA) All fairly comparable pieces of kit. It's an expensive sport. I'm sure if Pinkbike did a poll, a large amount of users would/have paid this amount for clothing before and would do again.
