it's 3.5 km elevation down, and "only" 800 m up - maybe he's planning on hike a bike for the climbs?

@adamkat: Yep - 100% agree! just watched BK's track walk/ day 1 practice video and second half of the course looks awesome. Not much in terms of rocks and roots, but definitely flat out.
Top section feels super disconnected though - a long traverse to get to the good bit ha

Nerding Out: Are More People Watching World Cup DH Racing in 2023?
I have a question, might be in the article but didn't see it - for 2023, were you able to see unique viewer counts, or is that the total viewer numbers? I think with content across 4 "official" channels, there are a lot of people that get double/triple/quad counted. Was that addressed in the data analysis?
Also would be interesting to see how those alternative sources fared - how was dialed/BK last year, or the red bull fast life series? I think those would have been interesting to see as well. Has interest in the sport dwindled, or interest in the DH official channels?
