It's really good to see them embracing simplicity again with this drivetrain. Things really went downhill after Windows XP but it looks like they're back in the groove!

When your tires wear, where, exactly, do you think those tiny, irretrievable pieces of plastic are going? If every helmet manufacturer switched to this technology it would still be a literal drop in the ocean of plastic MTB introduces to the environment.

Devinci Recall 2023-2024 Chainsaw and Chainsaw DH Alloy Models
0.3% is, in fact, not a small failure rate on something that can kill or seriously injure you. 0.3% of bike tires losing lugs is no big deal. 0.3% of head tubes separating while riding is why they're doing the right thing with a recall. If airplanes crashed 0.3% of the time no one would fly.

Shimano brakes, not know for their modulation, set up to "grab almost immediately" with "very little lever pull" sounds like a nightmare, but I guess that's the difference between my skills and those of a pro.

How To Pick A Safer Helmet - According To Science
Great value for a safe helmet, but the Tactic 4 makes the wearer look like a goblin shark (google it) with that fixed visor and it's tough to put a price on that.
