@topherdagopher: I guess you don't remember the Fox Alps4 shocks from the 90's. Fox has been in the game for a long long time. They started on two wheels (mx) and going mtb was a natural for them. Doing it under their own banner longer than Rock Shox (who got bought by SRAM while fox continues to call their own shots)

Find my unthrown goggles, electric sox, air up the schwalbe Ice Spiker 29'ers wheelset, slap on my front and rear fenders, and polish up my old Giro MX snowboard helmet (winter biking helmet now) - and then listen to all the fat bikers bitch all winter long about me riding on their groomed trails (tough shizt) - why do they hate pizza so much?

Chromag Announces the Rift V2 Kneepad
Always on the hunt for a knee pad that might topple the leatt 3do evo 5.0 (incredibly comfortable, excellent ventilation, and side protection from frame strikes). These new Cromag V2s appear to tick all those boxes. Some may balk at the price, but if a pad is very comfortable to wear, it means you'll actually want to wear them no matter how hot it is outside (and thank yourself afterwards) - that's worth a premium price.
