Results: Pump Track Challenge - Crankworx Rotorua 2018
What do people think about the points scoring for Crankworxs? I see they have increased the amount of points for Enduro which makes sense for me given how tiring it is and the effort is involved to win but giving the same points for Dual speed & style, Dual Slalom, pumptrack and slopestyle still seems crazy! The pumptrack event is really popular and very competitive but putting it at the same points as slopestyle? It doesn't seem fair. I think they should upgrade slopestyle or downgrade pumptrack to make it fairer. Probably the latter. FYI points for 2018 are here: https://www.crankworx.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/King-and-Queen_World-Tour-2018.pdf IMO pumptrack just doesn't make for particularly exciting watching. The length of time it takes and the repetitive nature kinda kills it. Anyone remember 4x!!! Now that was exciting.

Muddy and Wild British Shredding - Video
I can't help feeling that Transition Bikes have made an error making their Patrol bigger. The older Patrol seemed to be spot on for so many riders and I haven't seen a single new one yet.

Carbon vs Aluminum: Separating Environmental Fact From Fiction in the Frame Materials Debate
@rezrov: I completely agree. From my real life experience carbon has yet to prove itself to be more durable. And I don't know anyone who has recycled a broken carbon frame or wheel. But most local recycling centres cater for aluminium

Knolly Moves Entire Lineup to 157mm Spacing
Just f'ing stop! I want to lock the CEOs of all the main bike manufacturers in a room and keep punching them until they agree to stop f'ing around with stupid standards. I see more flex in rear swing arms on loads of bikes than i see flex in the rear wheels. Sort that sh!t out first! PS Sram, i would start by hitting you first. Twenty nine point nine nine times.

MS-Mondraker Signs Brook MacDonald and Mike Jones
Just an armchair opinion but I felt that he was never the taken with the GT. After they took the silly I-drive off it he still seemed to hint it is a limiting chassis.
