Review: North Shore Racks NSR-6
Got the 4-bike version this year. Used to have a truck with tailgate pad and also some other crap hitch rack. This one is my favorite by far. Another huge plus is that all the vibration from the road goes into the headset bearings, which are designed to easily handle it. Tray racks all that goes into the wheel bearings, pivot bearings, and fork bushings. Maybe those are all burly enough though the mechanic in me cringes at it.
I also like supporting a small company that keeps its supply chain and manufacturing in North America. I’m 5’8” and haven’t had any trouble loading bikes. Granted we only take 2 at a time and so use the outboard placements.
Good to know about the rust; will keep an eye out. I’d buy it again in a heartbeat!

Local Flavours: The Complete Guide to Riding in North Conway, New Hampshire
Amazing as always; North Conway has been on the punch list for a few years from Maine and now that my son's more interested and capable on gnarly tech trails and climbing we'll have to bump it up :)

Oct 26, 2019Fox Float Factory 180mm RC2 - 26"!!!
$275 USDFinally upgraded to 27.5" so this beauty must go. Currently has PUSH wiper seals. I like to wrench so serviced the lowers way more than recommended by Fox. There are some minor scratches on the stanchions, Steerer is 6 7/8" and fit perfectly with 15mm or so of spacers on my 2015 medium Canfield Balance, which has a 110mm head tube and Cane Creek 40 (not zero stack) headset.
Edit: also have the 15mm axle and bore inserts. Note that these are for 15x100 and NOT boost 15x110. Also have volume reducers and some shims for the pinch bolts.
Buyer pays shipping.

Oct 26, 2019Oakley Airbrake MTB
$95 USDNew frame, used lens.
Just picked these up to swap out the lenses with my Airbrake MX. I ran ripclear lens film on the lens in the photo until a couple rides ago; while there are some minor scratches on the edges, the field of view is like new. I'd be willing to keep the green/orange frames and sell my black/black frames if that's more your color scheme preference. Same price. Includes shipping to lower 48. New case and storage bag included, regardless of which frame is chosen.
