I was at Cypress today, about 8 non skiers were taking Sky chair to the top. My guess is that they were scouting out the Hardline course .

I’m 65 now and diminishing fitness and skills means no more downhill riding for me. An e-bike would get me up to the trail head but I’d probably get hurt on the downhill. Perhaps switching to cross country riding would be fun on an e-bike but $10,000.00CDN is high price to pay.
