Yes, Electric Dirt Jump Bikes Actually Exist
There is a potential for a bike like this for trying things impossible to do without a pedal assist: jumping a set of dirt jumps backwards or hitting gaps with an uphill approach (stairgaps up stairs). For any serious dirt jumping it's a huge no-no. Tailwhips are going to be difficult to initiate/stop because of the mass of the battery. Current dj bikes weight between 10 and 12 kgs and here we're looking at 18 kgs.

5 Things We Learned at Crankworx Whistler 2022
@safety: making it down the course is one thing but the event should also be attractive to watch. Is it possible to session the course outside the competition? Maybe Crankworx could use its course(s) to make a test event for female athletes? I would love to see women throwing down!

@Worley1: I have 3.0's which are flat pedal shoes so one would assume that you should be much comfier in them than in XC shoes. In my experience Five Tens are really comfy to walk in but they make little sense to use as regular shoes given how soft the soles are.

I also found them quite uncomfortable to walk in for a prolonged time as they're so stiff they make my feet sore after an hour or so.

Video: Pro Slopestyle Riders Share Their Favourite Tricks
I was watching them practice on the final quarter and was amazed by how smooth their riding is. No matter the altitude they were landing tricks really clean. I'd hardly call this style of riding mechanical but rather nicely choreographed.
