Review: 2026 Devinci Spartan - A Canadian-Made Aluminum Beast
Except the seat tube is too long and the insertion depth is too short. The stack could be about 10mm higher as well. Then it would be perfect. Otherwise it is just too compromised if you cannot get a long enough dropper. I wish they could solve those issues then it would be so ideal.

Pinkbike Poll: Do You Seek Out New Riding Areas?
Driving a few hours away is not so bad occasionally. Also, I prefer the familiar trails closest to me to maximize my riding time. Driving does suck and my favorite riding destinations are fully bike accessible (Whistler). When in Whistler, I never drive.

Pinkbike Poll: What Type of Mountain Biking Do You Do the Most?
I started riding mountain bikes in 2008 as a teenager. I had a few e-bikes since 2019 and now I’m back to mountain biking and happier than ever. The ebike has had 0 time for roughly two years. Mountain biking in the forest no matter the trail or my skill level makes me happy. I do a lot more sitting by the creek and looking at trees now and I’m more grateful than ever. My body is diminishing yet my love for mountain biking under my own power flourishes.

Industry Digest: U.S. Bike Imports Down 24%, Eurobike Revamps its Leadership, Canyon's Sales Decrease & More
@abzillah: American unemployment is showing the worst numbers since 2021 according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Additionally the economy is worse than it would seem as the stock market is skewed with the top 10% holding around 90-93% of all U.S. stock wealth. Also, the five biggest names in the S&P 500 (Nvidia, Microsoft, Apple, Alphabet, and Amazon) represent nearly 30% of the entire index. This is mainly driven by AI vaporware. Inflation, although slightly slowing, is being outstripped by the cost of goods rising and government and state services decreasing, which will drive up costs for the average consumer. Couple that with hesitancy due to tariffs and we have a right mess on our hands. I think you assessment of basic economies is a bit simplistic and only practicable in theory. Since costs are going up (mainly due to tariffs or uncertainty with tariffs) and purchasing power is going down, fewer are willing to spend money on luxury goods. As an anecdote, I used to spend on average 15k a year on new bike parts. This year, I have not even spent 5k on new parts and selling used items has basically evaporated for me. Even my brand new limited edition items will not even go for 30% of their retail value. Considering there is always money for war and never for the poor, we should come to expect things to worsen unless the working class garners more political and economic power and the concentration of wealth gets diluted.

@AyJayDoubleyou: I could not speak to their requirements but presumably the cost for the materials is less than their labor for this item. Considering the terrorism charge I might catch I will leave the paedo identifying to those with eyes outside of the regimes control.

@lkubica: your argument has only shown that people at the top do less and are unjustly rewarded for their bad decisions. As is the case here.

And yet the top comment is lauding his character as some savior. When you knowingly let PE or some bad actor take a financial stake in your business, that is bad for customers. When you refuse to take care of your staff and abandon them, that is also bad for customers. WAKE UP SHEEPLE ;)

@Chuckolicious: Considering most aluminum in the USA comes from Canada. This will likely also have tariffs on the raw material. I do not see the source listed on their website. Very few things do not start somewhere else in the world.
