Red Bull Hardline Tasmania Rider List Announced
Getting towed into one of the biggest features in our local area by Ed after he looked at it for like 10 seconds gives me confidence he’d do just fine.

1994 Cadex CFM2

$500 CAD
Own a piece of mountain bike history. The Cadex CFM2 was among the first mass produced, carbon fibre mountain bikes. It has a carbon front triangle and a carbon Kevlar rear triangle, with aluminum lugs holding it all together. The frame is structurally sound and I’ve ridden it regularly this past season. It has even seen some (mild) single track miles this year and it rides great. I’ve used it primarily as a commuter and to take my kids mountain biking. You might call it a resto-mod, but it’s been stripped down and rebuilt, including a conversion to a 1x drivetrain. It’s a no nonsense build that works and is 100% ready to ride. Specifications and Parts Size medium(ish) Suitable for riders between 5’6” and 5’10” Manitou Black fork, 100-120mm travel, rebound, preload, coil, doesn’t leak Rolf Satellite wheelset, bearings still good Geax Saguaro tires, 26x2.2” Cook Bros Racing crankset, 34t chain ring Envy bash guard Microshift Advent 1x9 derailleur, shifter, cassette, 11-42 Avid 20 vee brakes Well go pedals Giant handle bars Giant stem Giant saddle Giant grips Lizard skin chain stay cover Full Disclosure The bike is in rider condition. There are cosmetic scratches and wear on most components. This is a bike meant to be ridden and not a show piece.
