@skeen95: I totally agree! my full squish kinda sterilizes the tail so you need a much more aggressive trail to have the same amount of fun on a hard tail

First Look: Santa Cruz's Chameleon Hardtail Goes Carbon
I'm currently building an 2018 with a 27.5x2.8 rear and 29x3.0 front with a 140mm Pike. I am a little nervous about how it will all turn out. I kinda want to run a 150 or 160 but I'm thinking the 29x3.0 front tire will raise it up some and I'm running 29 rear dropouts with the 27+ so that will drop the ass a 6 or 7mm. Hopefully the BB will only be raised slightly and the HTA will slack out a little bit and should be tons of fun!
