Jul 3, 2017Transition TR500 Medium
$2500 CADI've sadly decided to sell my much loved TR500 as I just don't use it enough. It's ready to go right away and is spec'd out very well. It hasn't seen too much use over the past few years and is in great shape. It just has some cosmetic paint scratches from trail use. The fork was serviced last summer (2016) and has only been used for a weekend since. All of the other components are working and in good shape.
SPECS:
Frame: TR500 Medium aluminium 26" ( It's convertable to a 27.5 but it would need a new fork and wheelset for that)
Cranks: Raceface SixC
Fork: Fox 40 Stealth Air (High/Low compression, Rebound)
Rear Shock: Fox DHX4 with SLS spring
Derailleur: Shimano Zee
Brakes: Shimano Zee hydraulic (203mm Rotors)
Tires: Schwalbe Magic Mary (26" x 2.35)
Rims: WTB Frequency (26")
Handlebar: Diety Carbon
Stem: Chromag Direct Mount
Grips: Raceface (they're a bit fatter than most grips. Great for the bike park)
This bike was bought from Mud Sweat and Gears in Sherwood Park, Alberta. Most of the bike is stock but I have made a few upgrades, including the Fox 40 Stealth and other components to make it a bit lighter.

I still haven't seen a reason why Kona went from carbon to aluminum. I don't really care about the material differences, just curious why?
