@jessie-mmorgan: I find myself at the end of the small range on pretty much all bike size charts. Even though you might end up with that longer rear than front bias on some models, that is not what I would wish for. Over the years I got a couple of those longer stays than reach smalls, but I always found them to be very unsettling on jumps and trail hops. The medium of those times felt more balanced to me, but these days Mediums are out of reach for me haha. So now I look for the biggest small I can get, in this case it was the size small Chromag Reazon, which has an almost 50/50 stays to reach bias (438mm Rear / 445mm Front) and I don't wish the rear was any longer. I wouldn't sacrifice anymore playfulness for more stability.
