Nina Hoffmann Chose Not to Race in Leogang Following Concussion Symptoms
Reading her statement, it sounds more like her confidence was shaken quite a bit... Maybe she would have been ok if she got a lap in between the crash and her race run... When you look at risk vs rewards, I think she made a smart decision.. Plenty of places on that course that could seriously hurt you if you aren't on your game. Missing one race is better than missing a whole season or worse...

The Pinkbike Podcast: Episode 66 - The Best and Worst of Repairing Bikes
My last trail fix... A spoke broke and went through the rim tape.. I was about to hike it the 4-5 miles out when I told myself, "I have a tube, I can figure this out.." I ended up using my extra bacon strips still in the plastic to set over the hole and put the tube in and limped it out.. Oh, and RC, that Answer test track put me into the ICU for 2.5 weeks..

What's Going On With Commencal's Prototype DH Race Bike?
Regarding the rules of riding a non-production bikes... I thought there was a time frame of 12 months that a prototype can be raced. Maybe that's only from the roadies...

Two-Time BMX Rider of the Year Brad Simms Joins Canyon
@Hogfly: one thing about Moeller.. He'll be the first one to tell you he's an asshole.. Like he said, if the Unclicked guys did a podcast with everyone that has had an issue with him, they will be doing podcasts for a long time...

Two-Time BMX Rider of the Year Brad Simms Joins Canyon
@Hogfly: the firing via Instagram wasn't very professional.. The way it comes across to me after hearing both sides was that Brad wanted the same amount of money for riding everything S&M/Fit as opposed to a frame only deal.. But, I would have sold it as he would be saving the company money on parts being sent to him.. Funny thing about core companies like S&M.. It's still a business with a lot of checks to write..

Two-Time BMX Rider of the Year Brad Simms Joins Canyon
@RonSauce: I applaud Brad for wanting to maintain his value as a rider.. But, in this case it seems like there should have been room to renegotiate, especially if he can be getting more money from parts, clothing, and tire companies. Without knowing numbers, it sounds like he could have gone down to a frame only deal with Fit and come out ahead.. But, Brad is a beast on the bike and it will be interesting to see what he does on a MTB..
