Tinker Juarez Announces Split with Cannondale in Now Deleted Social Media Post
Tinker is a legend and total class act. If you listened to that podcast referenced above and found him too arrogant, you are a snowflake. If you care more about instagram followers than actual results and history of dedication to the sport of cycling you need help. Too many "instagram famous" people are literally the definition of a "poser". This term may be too dated for some of you but check your urban dictionary. I'd like to see someone have a 40+ year "career" as an influencer. Develop some respect for the people that came before you and forged the path and created the sport and lifestyle. You will blink and be as old as Tinker before you know it and he will still have accomplished more than you in the sport.

Race Report: California Enduro 2021 Season Finale - Ashland Mountain Challenge
@airsoftesneeto: Limiting entries is weak. Races were WAY BIGGER in the heyday of MTB. Not sure why we got to a point where 200-300 people is considered a BIG event. 10-15 people in a class? Not enough.

Pinkbike Poll: How Important Are Water Bottles?
I’d rather carry a bottle for shorter rides but definitely not a fan of 1’ of flat downtube in front of the BB.

First Look: Camelbak's Spring 2021 Line Up
I agree. Their early lumbar packs were the most comfortable I’ve ever owned. The volt 13 LR and the Octane LR have not been replaced by better products since being discontinued. I’ve given up on the brand and am going to try other manufacturers.

Spotted: Nukeproof's New Enduro Bike Finally Has Room for a Water Bottle - EWS Zermatt 2020
@mattbrown9: I’m with you buddy. Can’t stand 1’ of flat in front of the BB and/or pregnant downtubes.

First Ride: Yeti's 2021 ARC Hardtail
In the video and the first picture of the article they show it w/ a SID fork. I’m assuming that’s the 120 mm SID. Is this the bike that was used for testing? Would like to know the #’s with the SID build.

USA Cycling Contemplating Time Trial Format For XC National Championships
I guess they don't think people will start to catch one another and at that point its almost the same as a normal XC race with a few small groups and everyone strung out by at least 6' anyway.

Race & Accessibility in the Mountain Bike Community
There is no doubt that it is way tougher for people of color to get into mountain biking. Its an expensive sport! I think it also has a lot to do w/ what has happened w/ BMX in recent years. It is very difficult to get into BMX compared to 30-40 years ago. There are almost NO local tracks in urban/disadvantaged areas. BMX was a gateway drug to a lifelong love of cycling in the 80's and people were able to cobble together a race bike cheaply and then start racing at the local level (quite often riding to the tracks by themselves and riding/racing all day long all summer). Many of the stars of BMX from that era were people of color and they worked their way up through the system to factory sponsorships, world travel, industry jobs, etc. Now that sport has even become elitist and if you don't have money for expensive bikes and a family situation that can drive you all over the state/country you can't really get into that sport either. This means you don't get a sponsorship, don't get a job in a bike shop, don't meet people from other ethnic/racial backgrounds, etc, etc, etc. I think NICA is starting to get younger kids in the sport but it is also quite expensive to get started so I think it leaves a lot of disadvantaged communities out of the equation.
