There is a few trails in Nice, in the Vinaigrier park and above Eze. What is cool is taking the train to the Paillons and Roya valleys and ride your way back to Nice

@cool3: That was not at all my point. My point was that there are regions across this part of the world, to which many people still align themselves, which don't appear on any modern map. The village down the valley from me has a giant "Comune Occitano" sign as you enter, the language here in Sospel is closer to Piemontese than French, and so on. So just because Damien is from France, that doesn't mean he isn't Catalan. And 2 seconds on Wikipedia would have provided a definitive answer for you: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_Catalonia

@Babbeldibu: For this trip, as I was on the bike, I used my regular Evoc riding pack (20l FR) with a strap mount for the camera: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00H7JGOS4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and popped the 18mm Batis in the bag if I wanted something wider. If there's no commerical pressure, I prefer to go down to a real minimal setup, sometimes just a single prime. I kinda think that zoom lenses are there for when work means you don't necessarily have the flexibility or time to make a prime work.
