Review: The Forbidden Reya Throws Conventional XC Geometry Out the Window
In the saddle, the pedalling performance from both bikes is excellent. There's a hint more movement from the Reya's suspension if your pedal circle looks more like a square.

Review: The Forbidden Reya Throws Conventional XC Geometry Out the Window
I found the effective top-tube length of the S3 to work well and the climbing position to be comfortable. Compared to other bikes in this travel category, and in size Large, a lot of the Reya's wheelbase is made up of the chainstay length. That pushes the front end down, which might mean sliding back on the saddle (or move the position altogether) to gain more traction.

Review: The Forbidden Reya Throws Conventional XC Geometry Out the Window
I've only ridden the previous Element model, and that was a few years ago. I did enjoy that bike a lot. Unfortunately, it's impossible to ride every bike out there!
