Hello all - (I will add pics shortly, but they will only reinforce it's a well taken care of bike in great condition :) ) I am letting my Transition Bandit go not because it is the most fun trail bike I've been on, but because I am changing my bike fleet. TITUS EL GUAPO SIZE MED (2007ish)

$998 USD
I'm selling my all mountain machine. It's a Titus El Guapo (smaller boutique brand that makes some pretty cool bikes). Size Medium (I would say a medium on the larger side). It's used but no major issues. I would list it as fair to good condition (more on the good side). I want to make sure the buyer knows exactly what they are getting so there are no surprises when the box is opened. I bought a used bike online and was woefully unimpressed at the condition the bike was in when I recieved it. I don't want that to happen to whomever buys this bike so I'm going to try to list most every nuance and detail I can think of:) So don't take all this information as the bike is in terrible condition and all these things are wrong, but rather I'm am just trying to be very detailed in case I ship the bike to someone who won't see it in person until they buy it. It has most things expected with a mountain bike that is a few years old years old (about a 2007 frame I believe...based on some Google image searching might even be a 2008, or perhaps a 2006...I can't seem to get a definitive answer). Nicks in the paint on frame from crashes/rocks. Some bigger than others, but none bigger than a dime. I can provide detailed pictures of each if you'd like. Cable rub on the frame and cables. A good amount of scratches/nicks on the cranks (pictures should show that pretty well). They are cranks...:) Shifts pretty good. My boyfriend, a bike mechanic, did switchout and tighten the cable for the rear and it's better, but not 100% smooth all the time. Suspension has been great for me. The fork was relatively new when I bought it three years ago. The seals are a little dry and have a little cracking. Grips are still very grippy. Tires only have about 10 shorter rides on them and thus a lot of life left. I felt the tension in all the spokes it was pretty consistent but perfectly tight. The wheels are pretty darn close to 100% true. Seat has some scratches/small rips, but not where you could feel when riding...more just cosmetic. Rotors used, but in fair/good condition still. Wheels have some scratches, but nothing big or that would compromise the performance of the bike. Basically, it's an older used bike. Hence why is under a grand instead of more. All in all, I think this is a fair asking price. It's between the prices listed for good and fair on the Bike Blue Book (http://www.bicyclebluebook.com/SearchListingDetail.aspx?id=3030340&make=823&model=66050&year=2007) Please let me know if you have any more questions or would like more pictures. Part List: REAR SHOCK - RockShoxx Pearl 3.1 FORK - RockShoxx Revelation (air shock with lockout) STEM - Truvativ Hussefelt HANDLEBAR - Crankbrothers All-mountain (700mm...30mm riser, 6 degrees back/5 degrees up) HEADSET - Chris King CRANK - Truvativ BRAKES - Formula ROTORS - 180mm front and 160mm back, not sure on brand SHIFTER - front: SRAM X9, rear: SRAM X7 CASSETTE - 9 speed - not sure on brand FRONT DERAILLEUR - Shimano Deore LX REAR DERAILLEUR - SRAM X7 WHEELSET - Sun Rims Single Track TIRES - Maxxis Minion DHF 2.5, 3C compound (a lot of life left) SEATPOST - Sette SADDLE - Vitesse GRIPS - Sette no pedals Offers considered.
