Review: After 13 Years Shimano’s Saint Brakes Are Still on Top for Outright Power
Yes. I noticed this problem a couple of years ago. Again, I'd been running the D02s on my saints for years with no problems and then they started squealing. It drove me crazy, I assumed I must have contaminated them somehow, so replaced the pads, which didnt work. So scrubbed the rotors, still didn't work. Replaced the rotors, still squealed. In the end I tried the more expensive finned pads (H03c) and it solved it. I don't know if they're now making the non finned pads out of a different compound then the finned equivalent, or there's some sort of resonance issue with the DO2s, but it drove me crazy before I figured it out.

SRAM Releases Maven B1 Brakes - Lighter Action, Similar Power
I bought a set of mavens for my trail bike last year and the first couple of rides, I noticed the lever pull was heavy and didn't like it. After about 4-5 rides, I stopped noticing it at all. I don't know if the lever loosened up with a bit of use, or my hands just got stronger to compensate. Either way, now that's resolved, I am amazed at how good these A1s are.

DH Field Test: Giant Glory - Versatile, or Conflicted?
I have this bike and it has blown me away with how good it is. I've not ridden any of the other bikes on this field test, but they must be amazing if this Glory gets such a harsh review in comparison.
I know everyone says this about their own bikes, but I've been nothing but stoked with mine. Absolutely no buyers remorse at all.
