There are 2 bearings in the each of the rear linkage/SS connections, the linkage is bridged in front of the seat tube and it also uses a trunnion shock. All these decisions lead to the rear triangle being stiff enough with no seat stay bridge.

First Look: Nukeproof ARD Tire Inserts
The valves are still underneath the ARD but have a grove cut in the top, instead of the conventional hole. This allows the air to escape from the side of the top of the valve instead of the top alone.
