Who's Racing This Weekend? - South Korea DH World Cup Start List
Mio Suemasa (Japan): a great come back at 43 years old after Junior World Champs in 2001 and DH pro silver at Worlds in 2004. A little bit of ''champ du cygne'' like Missy Giove few years ago in USA. Go WILD lady!

I guess that Misspentsummers got the point (and the ''spiritual'' contract) maybe from DH community at the fabulous extreme never see so much hype on Pinkbike! Part of GcrossHonda and the Global Racing Team were two happening never seen after. Legend is all about that. And these racers as Minaar are still alive. Some comments from them will be useful to the new gen.

Just think about all these DH races from 1998 and the history of mostly all the gravity scene, the rolling and roots circus on these fabulous years all around the World. And the tops racers like Peat, Barel, Atherton, Sam Hill, Bruni rivals and some friends too. From the beginning at MSA in 1998 and after 23 World Cups, 4x time gold, 4x silver and 3x bronze at the World Champs pro elite.
The next chapter...maybe?
No one other than MisspentSummers can do this for all of us!

Misspent Summers Launches New DH and Enduro Yearbooks
Each year in Dec the great stuff knocked the door and always belove so much with content and great pictures. But don't forget all the statistics of the races and the ranking. Lot of graphics and beautiful colors. Awesome is not enough for thank you so much.
Hungry for more? Maybe. Let's say: back in time (before 2016) on DH circus. Since all photograpers are still alive, lot on stuff on computers and were always on the past races long time ago, isn't? Because DH racing was alive well before the annual book from this fantastic team of MissSpentSummer. And none other deserved to be the one to bring back memories on the past years. Right? Let's do it!!
Anyway, 2025 HurlyBurly will be sick as usual! Thanks all of you, sponsors and the customers too!

Official 2026 UCI World Cup DH, XC, & Enduro Calendar Announced
It was a matter of financial insurance to WBD.
(as read in local newspaper at 5pm Eastern Time)
Understand that money is all that matter now with UCI and TV broadcast.
DH and mountain bike mostly in Europe (Alps) since COVID-19.
With the new trails format they expected for racing, only speed with berms and jumps, then MSA with roots, rocks and into forests, I suppose UCI and WBD don't like it. Too much old school?
Fort William RIP?
Or these trails are maybe too difficult?
Did DHI lost soul? Spirit? Interest?
Anyway, hardcore locals will get access to the most beautiful insane trails at MSA next year all Summer long!
See ya on the official trails and...others!

Building More Than Trails: Québec Symposium Aims to Grow the MTB Ecosystem
Dig and ride is the only rule for a rider.
No dig= no ride!
Crying about too much expensive ticket? Or not enough trails? Complaining about moskitos?
DIG my friend and you and others will appreciate and love much more riding and all that beautiful nature al around you.
MSA got so much love from volunteers in the past years.
But the missink link between intermediate and XX trails needs to improve.
It will be soon of course.
Brain, muscles, work hard and DIG (or go and stay home)!
