For sale is a pair of 26 inch DT Swiss EX1750 enduro wheels, 20mm thru axle front and 10x135mm (standard MTB) rear with DT Swiss RWS skewer. I bought these wheels as part of a complete bike and wanted to build a new mountain bike for myself but unfortunately that never happened. These wheels used to be top of the range from DT Swiss costing £619.99 when new. World champion racers like the Athertons and Steve Peat would race on them. The rims have a few scratches but nothing major and the rear rim has got a small dent in it (see photos for condition) but you won`t notice it with the tyre on. Otherwise they`re both true, run smooth and the freehub has an amazing sound. 2009 Specialized SX Trail frame in size medium with Fox DHX 5.0 rear shock and 170mm travel. Black colour with silver graphics and soft rubber clear coat. The frame is the same as the 2010 version apart from the rear shock. The frame is in a good condition with some paint chips and cable rub that`s fairly normal for this type of bike. There`s no play in the pivots and the shock is not leaking, the rebound works plush. I bought the frame 2nd hand about 3 years ago with the intention of building it up as a light freeride bike but in the end I never finished that project. (Actually never really started it to be honest, it was an impulse buy as I`ve been dreaming of having an SX Trail since it came out on the market...) The frame also takes a direct mount front mech, 26" wheels and a 30.9mm seatpost. The weight of the frameset (incl. headset, seat clamp but without spring) is ca. 4.33 kg/.54 lbs. The frame moves freely when compressed but I`m sure the bearings could do with replacing as it`s been sitting boxed up in my bike shed and it already had some use from the previous owner. You can probably get away with using it as it is this season and get the bearings replaced before next season. The shock comes without the spring so you can get yourself the right one for your weight and riding style. It takes a 7.875 x 2.25" coil spring with a 35mm internal diameter. If you would like, for an extra £40 I can include a 550 x 2.25 DSP titanium coil spring (RRP £189) The frame also comes with a reducer headset which can take forks with a 1 1/8" steerer tube but if you have a tapered fork, you`ll need a different headset, or at least a new bottom cup. £400, no trades. Adjustable geometry (66.5° / 67.5° headtube angle), 170mm travel, size small, 1 1/8" headtube, 73mm bottom bracket shell, ISCG mount, 135mm QR dropouts. It comes with a Fox DHX 5.0 shock, 300x3.24 Fox + 350x2.75 Marzocchi coil springs, seat post, seat clamp, 2 spare derailleur hangers and manuals. Also included is the shock mount to change the frame geometry. The frame has been recently serviced, completely stripped, cleaned and rebuilt with new bearings. Some marks on chainstays and minor scratches but no dents or cracks.
