Oh also massive kudos to organizing this event! Couldn't believe how smooth it ran. Good job!

It's Not Presta, It's Not Schrader - Schwalbe Introduces New Clik Valve
@blackthorne: If heads were removed out of asses, one might realize that any schrader compatible pump can inflate your road presta bike, worst case using a little adapter. Not quite vice versa. There's a lot of ways I could disassemble your argument but why bother. You like one thing, I like another, no need to take it away from each other. I'm just wishing for an option here, that's clearly gaining traction and simply uses "common sense", over a gadget that many people including myself find finnicky, "sucky" and with literally no benefits **in my use case**.

It's Not Presta, It's Not Schrader - Schwalbe Introduces New Clik Valve
@blackthorne: we love it. Tbh it seems with each new valve release, it makes a few people think about why they use presta, and some small percentage may take up the valve they use literally everywhere else. It's backwards compatible to drill that hole for schrader, and it'll only take a few rim manufacturers to make it mainstream. @LightBicycleNA already does it, come on @WeAreOne, @ethirteen, @Spank-Ind.. Maybe offer a valve choice with a rim/wheel purchase, costs f-all and see how it goes? Few skus for sanity, please..

Tune's Light, Fast Pickup Hubs, the Smith Hardline DH Helmet & a Kenda Double Black - Eurobike 2024
Not too sure whether you're trolling, or whether you just need to try on a few dh helmets and Enduro helmets, and do a few laps. Maybe a few crashes too, though I'd be careful hitting that head, I assume it may not be the first time? I have a gambit and a dissident. Must be so dumb of me to buy an useless heavier helmet when I already have a dh certified full face!

SRAM Releases S-1000 Budget Transmission Drivetrain
@bmied31: It's funny how you call out anecdotal evidence yet use the same argument. The more inboard location has been here since Shadow design came out of Shimano a long time ago, and guess what, you still hit them. I'm sure the tranny works great for some people, but none of my peers kept it for longer than a few months before going back to whatever with a hanger. So clearly it's not for everyone, what a surprise.
