@werewolflotion: as much as I don't like Pidcock, he does actually have very good skills and can't be classified just as a roadie. There's been many roadies in the past who tried the same and didn't have the skills and failed. He is a mountain biker who is also a top roadie...but I still don't like him and wanted Charlie to win...
There were a few cooked souls in the race, that perhaps wouldn't have been if they didn't do full XC series and had $$$ behind them like Pidcock.
But watching Charlie passing Pid on an inside of a berm was so good. And some of the other top tech riders in the XC field are just as good to watch as the top DH (Bjorn, Charlie,Martin Vidaurre, Luca Martin, or Punched...)
