Review: Atherton AM.150.1
@Robgow: thanks so much for getting back to me. Makes total sense to focus on the bigger core market. I've been rolling on my deviate gearbox and its just been superb through all conditions so hopefully when one of you guys have some spare time to spin up the cad project you can take a look :) All the best with the new bikes, looking really positive!

The Freedom Machine's Homer: A Steel, Single-Pivot Gearbox Driven Enduro Bike with 27.5" Wheels
I've been rolling around on a deviatecycles guide for over 4 years now, any downsides are insignificant compared with the pros. I really don't understand why the reviewers can't work it out. Perhaps there not that good at riding after all ;) Love the gearbox, wish more brands would use them!

The Four-Year Story of Fin Woods' DIY Carbon Enduro Gearbox Bike
im looking at my guide right now, and its looking pretty dam similar! Only negatives I have are the noise of the top idler, they are very noisy on the flat and pedalling at speed, and I am not a fan of brake jack which I tend to notice on the steeper slow stuff. of course if I had any skill I wouldn't be braking ;) Other than that, gear changing is light years ahead of a mech, Im in the right gear much more often than before.

Deviate Cycles Releases Highlander High Pivot Trail Bike
@tomhoward379: I too have the guide! Ill be honest I actually find it the opposite for me. I am in the correct gear far more often as the gear changes are so much faster. I think most people are still put off by the gripshift. with all this electrical tech on the go at the moment, I can't see why they couldn't build an aftermarket wireless shifting setup as the gear changing is pretty easy with the allen key. I guess they just don't want to invest the R&D into it :/

Deviate Cycles Releases Highlander High Pivot Trail Bike
@deviatecycles: I bought one! Gutted to see you give up on the gearbox. It's far superior to "regular" drive systems! Nice looking new trail bike though guys, good luck with it ????
