Reader Story: Creating a Hardtail Designed For Compliance, Not Strength
If this is what beach cruisers turn into I'm for it. Idk why tf you need suspension on a bike that's designed to keep the rubber planted but again, I'm down. Just source the frame from not Marino and include a warranty.

Simons.Lab Introduces Aftermarket Fork Damper With Externally Adjustable Compression & Rebound Tunes
@novajustin: swapped a lyrik damper out for a lift damper as well. Really good decision. Only fork I think is going to keep its internals forever is a new mezzer pro. Awesome fork. Wild the underated forks and aftermarket dampers work so well while the big names that are supposed to be the best leave a lot of folks yearning for more.

Simons.Lab Introduces Aftermarket Fork Damper With Externally Adjustable Compression & Rebound Tunes
Would you rather spend $1k on a fork and then send the same company more money in a year when they fix the piss poor damping they told you was the best or spend half that on a chassis/color you like and upgrade the damper from a company who'a doing cool and new things?

First Ride: Santa Cruz Updates the Blur - More Travel, More Weight, More Fun?
@jpb1227: Transition is still in business after releasing a full 27.5 freeride bike with unique colors while SC's intention doesn't seem to stretch beyond "what changes can we make to increase market share". Just my perception but releasing an xc race bike that's further away from a race bike than the last iteration sort of proves that. Companies should be more like TR and less like SC. IDK exactly what I'm looking for but certainly the well paid engineers over at SC can form a new thought?

@Caddz: At this point SC solely exist to line the pockets of folks who probably think bikes are children's toys.

First Ride: Santa Cruz Updates the Blur - More Travel, More Weight, More Fun?
SC has the most consitently boring releases. Lil more travel, lil less angle, glove box, new color, repeat. At least we get more weight on an xc bike and bringing back downtube graphics from ten years ago.
