I am fairly new to downhill mountain biking, but I have a motocross background so I quickly took to the sport. I am working hard practicing as much as I can so I will be ready to enter into some downhill comps in the 2013 season. I am lucky because I live walking distance to the Sandy Ridge Trail System so I can practice on world class trails everyday.

The Argument for Long Travel Bikes - Opinion
When I read Mike Levys article a while back I was honestly pretty disappointed to see someone attacking DH rig riders unprovoked. I firmly believe that there is beauty in someone buying a DH rig, dreaming of going big like the pros, and then with time and practice DOING IT! I felt that he had no right to slander people for chasing that dream. But now that I see this post, i am much happier now to see someone sticking up for us ballzy peeps that like to go big! Its all in the name of FUN!! EVERYONE IS ENTITLED TO THEIR OPINION, AND EVERYONE IS ENTITLED TO GO OUTRAGEOUSLY BIG ON A DH RIG IF THEY HAVE THE BIG BALLS THAT IT REQUIRES!!

Throwback Thursday: Opinion - The Argument For Short-Travel Bikes
Who cares if kids wanna go out and drop money on a downhill bike, dreaming of being the next Sam Hill or Aaron Gwin!!!??? Let them dream!!!! Besides, our favorite bike companies do great by selling thousands of their downhill bikes. It helps them to continue to have the finances to keep building more and more AMAZING bikes! Modern downhill bikes are truly amazing, and i feel that if someone wants to drop the coin on one, why not experience ownership of such an amazing machine. In my opinion, this article was completely unnecessary, un-called for, and petty. The only reason i can think of that one would write such an article is if they get jealous and angry every time they see someone on a downhill bike.

When that happened to me my first instinct was to straighten it and i did so instantly. Finger isnt the straightest of the bunch anymore but it recovered just find. No docs needed. Lol
