Pietermaritzburg ain't the type of track the young New Englander is used to, but today it didn't matter. It's not a cap it's a crown.
The obliging, not so rude, Richey putting the power down up top, run of his days ahead.
In junior women, Great Britain's finest young lady export, Tahnee Seagrave, did the tea-toters proud today storming to victory, with no challenge from Feniak to defend her title.

I don't normally give a monkeys what the girls are doing, but I first heard of Tahnee Seagrave in a 2010 interview with Dirt. I've seen a video of her bouncing off a tree at Champery too. All on the same bike. Is she still using that exact same frame from way back when? Anyone know? If so, that is total proof that we don't need to buy new bikes all the time. Just get a good 'un and ride it till it dies.
She gets a new custom baby blue frame every year. Intense sponsor her team- fmd racing.... So no it's not the same bike. Also in the vid she hits a tree at champers I think it was a socom she was on?
Give that girl a medal.
and invent a medal for the least baggy baggies. OK so no skin-suits seen but some pushing the envelope! Lets see whether the UCI DQ anyone for sartorial elegance.
Congratulations Richie Rude!! The last American who did well in Juniors was I think JD Swanguen with a silver way back (when Cunningham of Britain got Junior gold).. Epic racing!
I agree were is the podium shot of the junior women . Is it any wonder girls can not sponsors when the media does not even put a shot of the World Championships Podium in their report .
So no it's not the same bike.
