Video: Do You Really Need DH Casing Tires?
This problem got solved years ago...its called tyre inserts. I run continental tyres...argotal trail , ride hard with low pressure and have not had a single puncture in about 6 years since doing this. Used to get a pinch flat about every other ride, now for the first time I actually have to decide if the tread is too worn rather than throwing away due to too many repairs. I use tannus inserts which are easy to remove, support the tyre and weigh 150 grams...this is the exact difference between enduro and trail casing tyres. I run 13psi front and 15 rear..smash through rock gardens and dont care. As for cut sidewalls...I rarely got them before and never now. Maybe iv just been lucky or maybe the inserts help somehow...not enough evidence. If your someone who mostly gets pinch flats then do this definitely.

First Look: Garbaruk's Aluminum Enduro Crankset
Not understanding the hate for these. Excellent weight for the advertised strength, clever design and most important for me - they come in silver so the finish wont deteriorate. so many people complaining about the colour when you can have anything you want ? Garbaruk make the best cassettes in the world which would be enough for me to buy them...if I didn't already have the equally brilliant Locked V2!
