Fantastic. I gather your BPI left you with total arm paralysis? It must be quite the trick to grab the release pin when you need to bail! I also have BPI, but to a much less extent, where my arm is still functional with few limitations. I had a terrible crash not long ago that felt like I tore apart my arm (ambulance ride) and thought I had it go completely paralyzed. I would do the same thing if I had to - but your design is first rate. Keep riding and inspiring.

Bike Check: Brett Tippie's Glow-in-the Dark YT Capra 27 - Crankworx Innsbruck 2018

My Capra came with 165 mm stock cranks - I wack rocks all the time, (I ride in the rocks) but it's more due to the lowered bottom bracket than the crank arm. Love that bike and Brett is alright in my book.

@browntown40: True - my brother just bought a 2018 KTM 250 for $8,700.00. I guess they don't have state of the art tech in their shocks, forks, frame and brakes - oh yeah they have a motor too. Let's face irt MTB's are a rip off price wise - you are the motor and reason why if you don't go fast - not really the bike. There's a million bike manufacturers out there - because profits are to be made .

Yes this makes perfect f@%&ed up sense! Why have something simple and works fine when you can have complicated and works shitty? DH is being put under the bus. 80 to 60 riders, then less coverage and now this fantastic rule change. Way to go UCI - I'd say your lycra underwear is a bit too tight.
