Feb 11, 2024Revel Rascal - Large (Frame or Complete)
$1750 USDWilling to sell as frame/shock only ($1750) or complete ($4200)
Willing to ship at buyers expense
For sale is my 2021 Revel Rascal size Large in the T1000 paint. Ideally I would sell this as a frameset with the Manitou Mara Pro shock but also willing to sell complete for the right price.
Frame Condition: It has been ridden, there are some scrapes in the paint (shown in photos) and a slight groove from a bent chainring (replaced) on the chainstay. Revel employee's checked this and said that it was not an issue to worry about and I have ridden it for two seasons with no issue. Very fun and capable frame that punches well above its weight on descents.
Full Build: All functioning beautifully
Fork: Manitou Mezzer Pro (set as 150mm travel)
Shock: Manitou Mara Pro (amazing pairing with this frame)
Der/shifter: Shimano XT 12sp
Cassette: XT
Brakes: Hayes Dominion T2 (carbon levers, titanium hardware)
Rotors: 180mm Hayes D-Series
Wheels: Reynolds Blacklabel 329 Expert (carbon)
Bars: 1" rise ProTaper Carbon
Stem: 35mm ProTaper Alloy
Crank: SRAM XO Carbon 170mm with wolftooth shimano optimized 34t oval chainring
Tires: Continental Kryptotal

First Look: Haro Returns With the Saguaro Hardtail
@howejohn: You don't trim your brake line when installing on a bike? Because unless you have the perfect length hose you should cut and bleed it regardless. then once it's on, it's on. I think in theory externally routing hoses seem like the best move, but in practice, I rarely find myself fiddling with the hoses after install. I can bleed without removal and change brake pads without removal and swapping to another bike would require a new hose and bleed.
