Jul 9, 2026Fox factory 40 Grip X2 29" 203mm
$1,700 CADSelling an almost brand new 40, had shoulder surgery so not much use for the fork this year. Bought it last summer and it only saw 6 or 7 after work grouse laps and a Seymour shuttle. Probably has less than 5 hours on it. Just changed the lowers oil to freshen things up before selling. No scratches or scuffs, steerer tube is cut to 175mm. Mechanic owned, too busy fixing bikes to ride them.... Let me know if you have any questions!

Throwback Thursday: 13 Mountain Bikes That Used Two Rear Shocks
@hamncheez: I had the pleasure of renting one as the shock on my DH bike was cracked. Rode it in the bike park, and was shocked by how well it performed. The ardent tires were the only thing not up to the task ahaha.

10 Ways to Restore That New Bike Feel
I feel all of the prices are a bit lean. I've done a full bearing replacement on lots and lots of bikes, not including headset, wheel, bb bearings. The cost alone of replacing bearings on a Norco range is well over $150. That basically only covers the main pivot/bb quad 6808 max bearings which are around $40 each.
