@Erikabraham566: Hey man, sorry for the delay. I dont know exactly what my sag is as I used a percentage to start when the bike was new and then made adjustments based on feeling alone, I did find that I reduced sag, so lets say I am between 25 and 30%. All of my shock settings are somewhere in the middle, nothing extreme. I think my shock does have more LSC than most shocks, for what thats worth. I tried all of the Ride4 settings and have found that the neutral and high BB settings were most comfortable for me. Seems like this thread has gone off track from being a RM Instinct test to a shock test, but for what it's worth, with the Kitsuma Air I think the bike and shock pairing is quite good.

Field Test Bonus: Can We Unlock the Rocky Mountain Instinct's Potential?
I have a 2024 Instinct and wanted to share my experience with the bike as it's been distinctly different than feedback from this test and review. I never actually rode it with the stock shock, and built it with a Cane Creek Kitsuma Air, in 210 x 55 as opposed to the standard 210 x 52.5. It took me a handful of rides to establish the shock pressure that I felt best with after using 30% only as a starting point. I also never tried the short chain stay setting. With that shock and the long chain stay setting I have found the bike and rear suspension to be very good, plush, and also very good at holding itself up without wallowing too far into the stroke. My previous bike was a Stumpjumper Evo, also with the Kitsuma Air, and using that as my basis of comparison its been my experience that the Instinct is both plusher and holds up better, while also being a longer bike that I find to feel more planted. Rocky did a great job with this bike, the geometry is spot on, and the headset reach adjustment is brilliant. Happy to take some tips on reducing the internal cable noise though!

$5500 USD2020 Hightower V2, XL in excellent condition with many new parts. The frame is covered with Invisiframe, and in great shape with nothing more than cosmetic scuffs/scratches. The extent of used parts on the bike are limited to the frame, Race Face wheels, 180 mm rotors, WTB saddle, RS Super Deluxe Ultimate shock, RS Lyrik Ultimate fork, Maxxis tires, Sram Dub BB. New parts include Truvative Descendent Crank (170mm), Deity Knucklebuster Grips, Specialized Aluminum Handlebar 35x30x780, Specialized Stem 50mm, SRAM Code RS Brakes, SRAM XO1 Eagle Derailleur, SRAM XO1 Trigger Shifter, SRAM GX 1275 Eagle 10-52 Cassette, SRAM 30T Chainring, RS Reverb Stealth 175 mm seat post. The fork has the new seal head installed already, and this sale will come with a 160mm air spring as well. The shock has the RS MegNeg in place, and will come with the standard air can as well. Also coming with the bike will be a new spare Reverb Stealth lever and cable, new SRAM XX1 Crank (175mm and never used or installed), new SRAM DUB bottom bracket (73mm Threaded), brand new 200mm SRAM centerline rotors. Tubes are installed, and the tires are used, so I will be happy to let the buyer pick out new tires and tubeless valves from my shop who will be boxing and shipping the bike.
