Zermatt: Always Worth the Journey
Europaweg is really great and there are few super technical climbs over boulders and rocks + the descent down to Täsch is just what the tech flow doctor called for. For the other trails however bring tubes and puncture repair stuff because there were (maybe removed?, maybe still here) tons of man made drainage groves in the trails formed by sometimes 30 cm high SHARP rocks which kill your flow as well as your wheels and tires. Otherwise super place, but expensive as all hell

We Only Ride Park: Air DH Photo Epic - Crankworx Whistler 2017
Part of the thing I always heard about Crankworx was how the atmosphere was second to none and that it was super festive.... as a festival should be with crazy happy people everywhere.... With evolutions like the shutting down of Hecklers Rock, the disappearance of party and mega trains and the overall businessifing and professionalizing one has wonder what has been lost... Never been there but it seems that those who enjoyed it see changes which they don't support.

OWN's Journal: Return to Origins in the French Alps
Definitely come over! Food for thought. SKiing/Boarding in the Alps is unmatched but you MUST be prepared to Tour to get the goods. It is a way of life much more than sport. Sledding is not allowed anywhere in the Alps as far as I know: probably Scandinavia is different. Biking is pretty good here. On average more difficult and hardly ever maintained + requires tons of local knowledge to get the goods without having 135 of your best new friends along for the ride--> Guiding!! Do it soon, cause you'll only be that much older later :-)

Calibre Bossnut V2 - Review
What does it mean for you that the 'sport moves on'? A different but very related comment: I've read here 10,000 times about how expensive a bike is but NEVER about how aweful it is....because they're usually all fantastic..so moving on would be for me dropping the price while retaining performance....so precisely what you're reading. No-one re-invents hammers, saws or shovels because they all work...maybe bikes are getting to this point...
