by NS Bikes
This years show in Friedrichshafen was really special for us because of the the premiere of our DH bike that should hit the market in Spring. We also showed a prototype of our Enduro bike that will be comming later in the year. Here is a preview of what you may expect in 2014 and beyond in NS complete bikes department.

Fuzz 1 and 2 / Downhill

The Fuzz is a true DH machine and do-it-all rig for any gravity assisted riding. The frame has been raced throughout the whole 2013 season by our specially assigned R&D team, thrashed by one of the most vicious freeriders - Jaws, and then flipped and whipped by the #1 freestyle rider in the world - Sam Pilgrim.

NS Bikes Fuzz 1 2014

Thanks to the adjustable dropouts you can set up the bike with a super tight rear end or you can fit the wheel in a more standard and stable position to suit the characteristics for any track and any riding style. The ride is plush yet lively, making it easy to get air time. The Horst link system eats up everything and the suspension curve is perfect, using up all of the travel but never bottoming out. No brake jack, no pedal induced bob. The frame has truly modern DH geometry - it's low, slack, has a short rear end and a roomy front triangle.

As with all NS products, the Fuzz has been built to provide the best race-day performance combined with everyday usability and reliability. It's strong, easy to adjust and will rip right out of the box.

NS Bikes Fuzz 1 2014

The Fuzz 1 is our top of the line build, equipped with the Boxxer RC up front and a Vivid RC in the back, super strong Avid Elixir brakes, a 1x10 drivetrain and a full set of aftermarket NS Bikes components, including the new Evidence Plus handlebars, Direct Mount stem and high-end Enigma rims.

NS Bikes Fuzz 2 2014

The Fuzz 2 is built using a careful selection of components and offers great quality at a very competitive price. The package includes the brand new DH specific NS cockpit with the Evidence Plus handlebars and Direct Mount stem.

Snabb / Enduro

Designed to fly across the roughest downhill sections, be a blast on jumps and A-lines, yet at the same time remain superefficient on even the steepest and longest climbs.

NS Bikes Snabb 2014

The 160mm of travel is plush yet lively, making it easy to get the bike off the ground. It's designed primarily with 650B wheels in mind, but you can still run 26” thanks to the interchangeable dropouts. The Snabb shares many design features with the Fuzz downhill frame - so the pedigree is clear, and many of the best features of the gravity frame have been incorporated into the Snabb. However a much lighter tube set and Enduro specific geometry makes this bike a completely different animal.

Eccentric / Enduro

This is a brand new bike. A really tough hardtail that will cover everything from light freeride to true all-mountain riding. This bike will be perfect for all of the Surge owners who prefer more pedal focused riding in a 650B version.

NS Bikes Eccentric 2014

The heart of the bike is a high-end cromoly frame built using Tange Eccentric tubes. It's designed around 650B wheels and a 142x12 hub. The weight of the frame is approximately 2.4kg which is light by any standards, but thanks to our in depth knowledge of steel frame constructions we know that it will also be strong enough to hold up to a lot of abuse. The complete bike is fitted with a selection of NS Bikes components, the new X-Fusion Sweep fork and a 2x10 Sram X5 drivetrain with X7 rear derailleur.

Soda 1 and 2 / Freeride / Bike Park / Enduro

The Soda has been around for a while now, and it's prooved to be super reliable, has received great reviews from riders and press so we decided to make it even better! The frame has undergone major revisions resulting in weight savings (150g) plus optical and functional improvements. Frame height has been increased by 0.5” in both sizes for better pedaling position. Tire clearance has also been improved.

Soda 1 has been equipped with the Lyric fork with 170mm travel which is more than enough for modern freeriding but has a significant influence on the weight and price of the bike. The other upgrades in Soda 1 include the Truvativ Descendant cranks, an all-new cockpit with the Quantum stem and Evidence+ handlebars. The complete bike is now almost 1000g lighter!

NS Bikes Soda 1 amp 2 2014

Soda 2 has also received new lightweight NS Quantum stem.

Soda Slope / Slopestyle / Bike Park

The frame of the Soda Slope has undergone major revisions resulting in weight savings of approximately 200g as well as a some optical and functional improvements. For 2014 it will be fitted with the Manitou Circus Expert fork which is a perfect match for this frame.

Analog / Fixed gear commuting and freestyle

Built on a full cromoly NS frame The Analog has proved to be a good balance between a commuter and trick bike. The 2014 Analog received slightly wider Mint handlebars (650mm) and a full set of NS Bikes components with a Quantum stem on top of that.
