If Mondraker and Scott can sell more product in North America because of Dak, whether he podiums or DNF's is what matters.

I think astute brands see the value in the rider not necessarily if he can podium. Aaron as a brand "sells" race proven product. Dak is another example. He can podium and can win, but he definately put Mondraker on my radar, and same with Scott. Its more about selling product than winning. I will say I'd be interested in a Frameworks ebike if that exists some day, but the Mondraker ebike is definately interesting to me because of Dak...But they must have long CS's

Scott DH Factory Racing Adds Dakotah Norton & Jess Blewitt for 2026

I have to say I've been nervous for Dak. Scott is beyond my wildest dream for Dak. SO HAPPY FOR HIM and his wife. They seem like a beautiful partnership...MTB royalty. Hope he can make those Michelins work...He seems to like "damp" settings and the dh22 is a damp casing compared to maxxis dh. Too bad he won't be on the DHF2.

So what happens if a non american wins? Then no American gets the sleeve? Or say Jackson wears the USA sleeve - that would be weird - a Canadian wearing USA sleeve.
