Movies For Your Monday
Analytics are ruining sport. I have lost so many friends to the cult of numbers in road and XC cycling. I had to walk away. It was no longer enjoyable. I can only imagine the numeracy horrors at professional levels. Poor soul.

Skateboarding progression continues to amaze me. Maybe not the halfpipe ramp or concrete bowl stuff, but in situ street skills just blow my mind.

When Are New Standards Called For? - Pinkbike Poll
i don’t feel this is a bike problem. I see it with cars too, fancy plumbing fixtures, home appliances and even the windows on my house. Spare parts are either not available or have to be sourced at great cost in terms of time to track down a supplier with stock. See how many LBSs can service a Campy equipped road bike. Good luck with that in Canada.

Saris Bones 2-Bike Strap-On Rack - Review
@colemanb: not an issue as you just raise the arches. I got poor aerodynamics if i did not use the top tube adapter bar...as the rear wheel was too high into the wind. Found an adapter on kijijij for $20. My only issue after 30 000+ km was the straps can loosen over long distances at high speed, and the feet scratch the cars paint everso lightly. You can also get extreme oscillations in cross winds if straps loosen. I’m talking more than 600km drives. I loved that it was cheap, and installed in under two minutes. If i leave anything else on my car outside overnight folks steal bits of it, be it straps, hooks, rails or whatever. Don’t get me started about the crappy locks on high end racks. Removing a hitch rack is such a pain. The Saris is my first pick for single bike portages to trailheads.

Pinkbike Poll: Does the Current Method of Mountain Bike Classification Make Sense?
Expensive and affordable. Way too many bikes north of $3000 these days. Wages have been stagnant for thirty years. Houston we have a problem....

Rocky Mountain Blizzard -30

$1300 CAD
Almost new 2016 Rocky Mountain Blizzard -30, size small (5’3”-5’6”), Fat Bike, less than 50km of use - no snow use. I have my $1900 bill of sale from Spokeomotion bike shop (http://www.spokeomotion.com/product/rocky-mountain-blizzard-30-242829-1.htm). Acquired the bike in April 2017. No pedals. Cash and carry from my driveway. No PayPal, money transfers, certified checks, etc. Price is not negotiable. Will consider bike trades, something like a Norco Threshold, Norco Search, Devinci Hatchet, Specialized Diverge, Specialized Ruby, Trek Crockett, Giant Defy, Giant TCX, GT Grade, Giant Anyroad 1, Cannondale Caadx, Giant Revolt, Kona Jake series, Salsa Vaya, Transition Rapture, Brodie Romax SS, Specialized Crux E5 SS, size small or 51/52cm, build of 2015 or later, low use/clean bike...similar residual value. Maybe a mid range track bike with a Miche drivetrain and Mavic wheels or something similar, set up for road use.
