May 18, 2026Giant / Liv Adore 16" Lavender/Pink - Lightweight
$190 CADMy daughter absolutely loved this bike. It’s lightweight at only 19 lbs, making it noticeably easier for kids to pedal, especially up the steep North Shore roads. Also much easier for parents to carry when little legs get tired.
The bike has had regular maintenance and runs perfectly.
Condition:
Excellent overall condition
A few normal dings and scratches from use plus one large scratch on the chain guard
Front tire tread ~75%
Rear tire tread ~15% (could still last several years if rotated with front)
Coaster brakes
Pickup Lower Lonsdale.

Race Face Introduces AR, ARC, & ARC Heavy Duty Offset Rims
Rock solid so far, tracks well and digging the Vault hub sound. Like you put CK's angry bees inside of a coffee can making them angrier with a bit more metallic click.

The Bakery: The Feces that Broke the Camel's Back
Fully agree a growing number of dog owners do not deserve to own dogs. Pedaling up fire road on Fromme, call out politely to the rider up front that his dog just took a dump in the middle of the road. Pretends not to hear, after a few more call outs makes some weak excuse about picking it up on the way back.... Didn't even make the effort to come up with a good excuse so the effort to clean-up is a bit of a stretch.

Recon Gen-2 R5 Shuttle Rack – Review
@chantalfelten: Nice, I see the appeal for swing away, but for a lower cost option would be very happy with just another notch on the tilt allowing to lower to flat. That and hinge part low enough to clear the door, seems like a pretty simple solution that I'm surprised no rack manufacturer has done.

Recon Gen-2 R5 Shuttle Rack – Review
Most racks won't work on the older Rav4 with the side swing door, and can't see how it can open fully with this rack tilted back. Is the comment, "I've been able to load four-foot wide plywood sheets into the back of my car without removing the rack" for a different car or for the Rav4?

Race Face Turbine Dropper Post - Review
Had mine for 2 months now, and works great. Solid with no play. Agreed you just need to set the slack in the cable and all's good.
