Specialized Status II

$1200 CAD
Selling my 2013 Specialized Status. Size: Small Great bike for beginners all the way up to advanced riders. Talk to anyone who has owned a status, or read reviews online and you will find that this is a banger bike for its price point. Great on freeride runs but also holds its own in the techy stuff. It's been well maintained throughout the season. That being said she definitely has her quirks that are reflected in the price. Fork serviced about a month ago at Whistler village sports. Currently getting a service done at GBB in Creekside. Cosmetically she is a little dinged up, the right-hand side grip is slightly ripped up from a small spill. I'll throw in a basically new set of Maxxis Minion DHF's with the purchase. The frame might need a couple bearings replaced but it's definitely rideable as is. It's a safe ride that's ready to go play in the park immediately. Pics are slightly old. It has more scratches now.

Canadian Open DH: Crankworx Whistler 2016 - Results
I can almost guarantee the people throwing debris onto the course at Hecklers rock were not mountain bikers. I know a lot of people who were up there today who can hardly give a shit about the sport, they just wanted to get hammered in a big crowd. The local bikers I recognized in the crowd were the ones clearing the course from cans. The people I saw throwing shit I had never seen before and it looked like this was their first time on the mountain. The can throwing may have got slightly out of hand towards the end but the trash was quickly picked up and it didn't interfere with the riders. I really hope Hecklers rock won't be banned because it is one hell of a fun time but the can throwing definitely has to simmer down a bit. Also, Wyn is a legend for doing what he did. Easily the best moment on the rock today. Anyone who thinks that it was inappropriate needs to take the stick out of their ass and relax. It's not like he was racing Garbo DH with vodka in his camelbak, he left the race and enjoyed a beverage, Chill the fuck out! (@staceykohut)

Whip Off World Championships: Crankworx Whistler 2016 - Video
Elliot Jackson wasn't throwing down nearly as hard as many of the other riders. The guy is an amazing rider but he wasn't the best yesterday thats for sure. Even Finn wasnt looking that great until his final jump.

Whip Off World Championships: Crankworx Whistler 2016 - Photo Epic
Big shout out to the amateurs. Some of the no names out there were sending it huge. Looked right at home if not better than a lot of the big names.

Fox Air DH: Eh-Line - Crankworx Whistler 2016
I was behind him in the lift line yesterday. New paint job is looking sick. Some multicoloured stripes kind of like the stripes you used to get on your tv when the channel was bad.

Cane Creek's Dialed Tuning App - First Look
Unreal. Other companies take note. It's my first season of DH and suspension tuning is something I've been trying to wrap my head around. I'll be looking for Cane Creek suspension on my next bike.
