Review: The Quarry Rage Bait 32" Hardtail
The “Quick feel”, “surprisingly fast”, and other accolades about speed of the bike need supporting data to provide meaningful value.

Video: Why Did Amflow Build Two Almost Identical E-Bikes?
Unfortunate to see more Class 3 bikes on PB. Looks like they no longer adhere to only discussing Class 1.

Trek Voluntarily Imposes E-Bike Speed Limits
@mikekazimer: The industry’s shifting definition of e-bike classes has created unnecessary confusion. In motorsports, power is an objective specification—horsepower and watts are measured values, not numbers that change depending on the regulation being applied.
If a manufacturer advertises a motor at more than 1 hp or more than 750 watts but then claims it’s “really” below those limits for regulatory purposes, the classification loses credibility.
What’s next—redefining speed? For example: “The motor can propel the bike to 23 mph, but riders average only 14 mph, so it’s still a Class 1.” That logic wouldn’t be accepted for speed any more than it should be for power. Performance metrics should be based on measurable output, not on whichever definition is most convenient.
A class system only works if the metrics are objective. Once power becomes negotiable, the classifications stop meaning anything.

Trek Voluntarily Imposes E-Bike Speed Limits
@mikekazimer: Didn’t Dario publish a review the specialized e-bike with a 750W+ motor today? While there are many definitions of the e-bike classes they seem to agree anything above 750W is not class 1.

Sounds like old school yard game strategy. When you are losing the game and no hopes of winning, change the rules of the game or start playing a different game.
