Video: 'Undefined Limits' Follows Matthew Fairbrother Taking on the Highland Trail 550 Challenge
@colourofsound: Agree. I tried all sorts, chokky, energy bars, raisins, bananas, dried figs, in the end unsalted ALMONDS. Just seems to have the right balance of density and energy release. Also easy to pack, easy to eat in small quantities like three or four at a time, chew on it and carry on. Never done anything like the 500, Matt - amazing stuff.

Condor Fratello 55cm/22inch 10x2 SRAM Apex gruppo

$550 GBP
Very little used Condor Fratello touring / Audax frame. SIZE: 55cm from middle of BB to top of seat tube. The bike is good for someone 5'8" through 5'11" - its a tad small for me at 6'. SPEC: As built by Condor - to a very gentlemanly specification - from Dedacciai tubing. Mavic Aksium race hubs and rims, Continental top contact tyre (both as new). Full SRAM Apex gruppo - (changers, levers, brakes, cranks). Really wide gear range - 50-34 compact on the front, 9 - 32 (32!!!) on the back. This thing climbs, and climbs. Crank length 172.5 - very subtle.. Condor saddle, Deda metal stick seatpost, Deda logo stem 100mm, Deda alloy bars 410mm wide (Medium). MARKS: Small paint dings on the chainstay and on top tube as in photos. Falling over in trains! Small scratches on forks - also in the pics. Shoe rub and scratches on the cranks. That's all the wear / damage I can see. I have a choice of two rear racks if you'd like them. Please come and give it a ride, you'll be surprised t how comfortable it is and how slick the gears are - much smoother than Shim 105.

Canyon Spectral Al 7 EX. Size Large

$1650 GBP
2016 Canyon Spectral AL7 EX Size Large. I'm 6', I think it'd suit 5'11 through 6'2". Converted to tubeless and fitted with Shimano XT brakes. Otherwise 100% stock. Bars uncut - original width. I've ridden it for for one week in the Corsican hills, brambles, granite and boulders.. no other serious use. Shame on me! Superficial scratches / scuffs as in the photos - I tried to catch all of them. Any questions - please feel free to ask. Essential specs: 1x11 speed SRAM Eagle - faultless :-))) . 140mm travel all round. Shimano XT brakes - quality, easy to maintain. 27.5 Tubeless. Pike forks (very smooth - lots of adjust), Monarch rear. Reverb stealth seatpost... It weighs a tad under 13kg. This bike rides pretty much the same as the Cube Stereo, Mondraker Foxy, Lapierre zesty etc.. but typical for German direct sales item has slightly higher spec fork gears shock etc... Its lighter than a Commencal Meta, is more solidly built than the Cube, and not as slack in the fork rake as the Mondraker. This was £2,560 new, the current 12 speed version (same frame) is £2,900.. ouch! Reviews here: http://enduro-mtb.com/en/canyon-spectral-al-7-0-ex-testbericht/ http://www.thebikelist.co.uk/canyon/spectral-al-7-0-ex http://flowmountainbike.com/tests/flows-first-bite-canyon-spectral-al-7-0-ex/ With the bike comes: Canyons’ diddy little torque wrench, Canyon’s huge manual with CD.. Bag, tool case, reflector set, all the gubbins that came out of the cardboard box. The two original tubes and spare valve innners, and a (£24) spare mech hanger - essential item if you ride among rocks. Frame canyon spectral aluminium, Rear shock: Rockshox Monarch RT3, Fork: Rockshox Pike RCT3, Headset Acros | Canyon, Rear derailleur SRAM Eagle, 11s, Derailleur hanger Derailleur hanger no. 26 – with spare!, Shifters SRAM x01 eEagle trigger, 11s, Brakes Shimano XT, Cassette SRAM XG-1295 eagle, 11s, Wheelset Mavic XA Wlite, Tyres Maxxis high roller II 2.3, Cranks SRAM x1 1400 Eagle, 11s, Chainrings 32, Chain KMX 11spd, Bottom bracket SRAM GXP pressfit, Grips Ergon ge10 slim, Saddle SDG circuit mtn, Seat post Rockshox reverb stealth, Pedals Nukeproof flats. - Actually vicious things that will eat your calves.

Cube Stereo HPA Pro 160 Medium (18")

$920 GBP
Cube Stereo HPA Pro 160 (2015 Model) 18” Medium Frame size. 27.5” 650b Wheels. Original 2 x 10 gearing. Under a year old. Bought from Tweeks Cycles in mid March 2015. All original – tyres, tubes, bars, grips, brake pads, chain, etc. Fitted with Shimano Saint flat pedals on purchase. Cube’s entry-level Stereo has same frame as the more expensive versions. In my opinion, it climbs well with the rear shock locked out and willingly flips through some full-on technical descents. Its a forgiving bike to ride. Ridden for total of three months, still has the hairs on the tyres (shame!) I’m selling it due to an on-going back injury and lack of space. Cube say the frame is good for 5’7” to 6’. I’m six foot, the 18” frame and setup is fine for me. Overall condition is great. See my photos. Wheels run true, no rubs or squeals in the brakes. No teeth missing from chainrings. No bangs to the rear changer. Front brake serviced by Beeline bikes in Oxford in mid January. Bike has some wear on the grips and on the pedals - as you’d expect. Scratches on the Seat dropper lever are from putting the bike on its back to remove/fit the wheels. (I have a Citroen C1). No dents or dings anywhere. I’ve taken photos of all the scratches I can see - along with the odd bit of cable rub. Happily it never had any issues with chainsuck, good tension & good design :-) The original technical documentation included – along with the longer toothy pegs to go in the pedals. I bought it a spare mech hanger (included) and switched out the main swingarm bolts from ally to Titanium. If you’ve ever broken any / either of these on any bike, you’ll know all about it. :-) New spare tube and natty little shock pump are also included. Please note the bike is listed on both Gumtree and Pinkbike. Price is fixed at £920. Cash only. Buyer to collect or could deliver within 25 miles of Oxford by prior agreement. Any questions, ask away. Henry
