Brandon Semenuk's 2018 Trek Ticket S - Bike Check
@Grutten: Trek stated on IG that the C3 riders' bikes have tabs welded onto the head tube. Unfortunately, they said it is not something they can facilitate for the general public.

2015 Photo of the Year Winner is...
I still think Michal Cerveny's photo was the best. Too bad it was eliminated in the second round.

Pinkbike Awards: Slopestyle/Freeride Athlete of the Year Nominees
Semenuk gets my vote. He won Joyride and District Ride, and had podiums at Bearclaw and Rampage. Not to mention he put out the only major MTB film this year, which, say what you will about the film but it did have some bangers in there, and showed his versatility as a rider. Certainly, Andreu killed it at Fest all year, and progressed freeride in the process, and Zink is always an animal (he had that record back flip too, I guess), but Semenuk and Reeder showed me that they are the most versatilem most consistent and best all around riders in the world.

Video: Red Bull District Ride Highlights
Rogatkin was not in the lead prior to the final jump... Even if he landed his triple whip and got a perfect score the best he could have gotten was 3rd.

Results: Red Bull Joyride - Crankworx Whistler 2013
I want to hear some EDUCATED opinions on whether you guys think Söderström's 2nd run sans the crash would have beaten Semenuk's run. After watching I truthfully don't know which run would have scored higher! The way I see it: Semenuk was scored fairly and clearly had the best run. It was super smooth (cleanest run?) top to bottom, he had big tricks like the backflip off the cabin and flip whip off the step down, was super technical with the opposite double whip and truck driver, and he made an attempt at a trick on everything (except the wallride). Martin had a more full run, literally tricking every single feature (which kind of detracted from the smoothness because some were not executed perfectly). Nollie 360 is probably worse than oppo truck (but looks cooler), dumped nack 360 is worse than double oppo whip, triple whip is better than double whip, cabin is about equal because backflip makes up for weak entry, wallride barspin and mini drop 360 are better than Brandon's straight air and barspin, 360 double whip is better than flip whip. Overall Martin's run was less smooth. I didn't notice if Martin had any opposite tricks on account of being so stressed over it being the final run so I can't comment on degree of tech. Bottom line: Brandon had cleanest, most technical run. Martin was clearly giving it everything he had and almost put down an insane run!
