Oct 19, 2022Specialized Stumpjumper EVO S4 (large)
$4200 USDSelling my brand new S Works Stumpjumper EVO Carbon Frameset (size S4) built up with components from my previously ridden bike.
Frame: S-WORKS Stumpjumper Carbon EVO S4 (with carbon link)
Fork: ZEB Ultimate 160mm
Shock: Super Deluxe Coil
Wheels: Bontrager Line 30 Alloy
Cranks: Sram X01 Carbon
Brakes: Code RS w/ 200mm rotors
Dropper: X Fusion
Cassette: SLX 12 Spd
Derailleur: SLX 12 Spd
Tires: Specialized Butcher T9 Grid Casing
The bike is in exceptional condition - ready to shred. I put a lot of love and attention into the build.
I bled the brakes and dialed in the shifting with new Shimano SP41 cable housing and cable. The shifting is crisp and delightful. The cassette and chain have a bunch of life left on them. The Dropper post lever is buttery and effortless.
I've owned a Stumpy EVO for two seasons and it's an incredible bike. It climbs efficiently, stores your stuff in the downtube, and shreds as hard as most 170mm bikes with a bit more pop. With the RS suspension this bike rides buttery and has loads of pop. You're gonna love it!

Oct 12, 2020Santa Cruz Megatower X01
$5200 USDSize large
I'm listing my Megatower for sale after buying a new (similar) bike. It's really hard to let this bike go. It's the ultimate PNW one bike quiver. One of the better pedaling long-travel 29ers I've ever ridden as well.
The components are essentially stock with the exception of the crankset.
I'm completely up to date on maintenance with this so there aren't going to be any surprises for you.
*The headset was just replaced
*The bottom bracket was just replaced
*X01 rear Derailleur has 3 rides on it
*The suspension bearings were just serviced 2 months ago
*The Code RSC brakes were just bled and feel fantastic
*The front chainring has 3 rides on it
* I just replaced the Seatpost housing and replaced the fluid
*The rear reserve wheel is new after a crash replacement was sent
*The e13 tires have never been ridden on a trail yet
*I threw new fluid in the lowers of the forks a few months back and then took this fork off to ride a Zeb. So the 36 Fork is feeling mighty fresh.
I'm open to cash offers. I'm willing to swap the wheels out and sell the bike with specialized alloy wheels (brand new traverse wheels) for $4500.

Video: Mike vs Mike: Geometry Battle - Specialized Stumpjumper vs EVO
I've ridden both and I think the EVO climbs tech better because of the massive rear end. It's impossible for the front end to pop up on steep climbs. However the regular stumpy is way more fun with the stubby rear end. I had no issues with the low BB height. The extra balance helps any issues that you'd have with pedal strikes.
