Yes, seemed a bit excessive in this clip, however, I'd be curious to hear people's opinions - are cutties ok from time to time? They sure are fun... I like to do them on my local trails, but I also spend a lot of time working on the trails.

I have to agree with your point. This is not like a train gap, where the only person getting hurt is the rider. In this instance, a mistake could hurt someone else and impact a professional cyclist's livelihood. Obviously these guys practised lots and had the jump totally dialled, but to me the consequences are just too high to attempt this.

Prince George is great! So much positive energy right now, especially with the Pidherny project moving forward and new trails being developed near the University. The new trails/features at Pidherny are so fun! Article should mention that Ben is a super approachable friendly guy too.

Burns Lake trails are awesome. Dave and Ken from Burnt Bikes are great to deal with too. One evening last summer I was riding my carcass up to the top of When Pigs Fly, and Dave pulled over in his van and gave me a free shuttle to the top. Great chat on the way up and fun ride down. Nice to see so much great riding in northern BC.

@ USA123 and Draggon: you guys are the people I want to deal with at the LBS. I want to support my LBS as I believe strongly in shopping local. Here's all I ask for: 1) Treat me with respect 2) If I come in looking for a small, hard to find part, make a decent effort to help me out. Don't just say "sorry, you'll have to order another Boxxer fork. That will be $2500, please." 3) If you make a mistake, admit it and fix it. 4) Give me a small discount. Yes, that's important, but it doesn't have to be much. If you even give me 5% off you'll get my business. It's more a gesture than anything. 5) When you have a poster on your wall that says "Bike club members get 10% off", don't tell me that you can't give me 10% off because "that deal only applies to clothing." There's an LBS south of me, in Williams Lake, that has fantastic service and is a real presence in the community. Anyone from central BC knows who I'm talking about. And when I'm traveling through town, I make a point of stopping in and supporting them.
