Dec 5, 2016Aquila Unison- PRICE DROP
$1200 CAD2010 Aquila Unison
$1200.00 OBO
- Full Dura Ace 7800 from 2008 and minimal use
- Carbon frame with integrated seat post
- DT Swiss RR 1.2 wheels (they are a little heavy, but absolutely bomber)
WHY I'M SELLING
- I am not into road riding anymore, and my top priority is paying off my tuition
- I live in BC and the bike is in Ontario (I had too much gear to bring out, I was already bringing out my CX bike and this bike was at the bottom of the list)
- I would rather be mountain biking (I am open to trades for a mountain bike)
- This bike is too nice to be sitting in a basement, never to be used
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- I did crash on this bike resulting in a crack on the top tube
- This crack was expertly repaired by Nigel Heron and the frame is stronger than it was before. Check out his expert work here: http://www.carbonwork.ca/
- Yes, the 7800 Dura Ace group set is old, but the minimal use means that it works like new, shifts beautifully and still has LOTS of life left in it
- I am about 5'9" and this bike fits me perfectly. I am not saying that it will fit you perfectly, but If you use a spacer/cut the seat post it will still work perfectly
- This bike has minimal use: I bought it new in 2011 and used it lightly for two seasons, at which point I discovered whitewater kayaking (I have not gone on a road ride since)
- This bike is not going anywhere and needs a new home; it would sure look good in your collection ;)
- I am open to trades for various outdoor adventure equipment (mountain bikes, kayaking gear, Nordic ski gear, alpine ski gear, telemark gear, climbing gear, you get the picture...)
- This bike absolutely rips and accelerates like a bat out of hell and is light and reliable

Hey Pinkbike; I am in a business course and collecting data on the feasibility of an indoor bike park in the Montreal metropolitan area. I will only take two minutes and helps me a lot in the long run. Thanks in advance! Here is the link: fluidsurveys.com/surveys/tony-Rzz/indoor-mountain-bike-park-feasibility Cheers.
