Pinkbike Poll: Pick Your Side on Mountain Biking's Most Polarizing Topics
I would have appreciated an option for 'depends'. OneUp carbon bars are my current favourite bars - they happen to be 35mm, so I said 35mm. I'm also a sucker for Titanium and have been lusting over some Doom Lucky Riser bars that are 22.2mm.

2025 Pinkbike Awards: Product of the Year Nominees
Madrone JAB derailleur should have been in there IMO. It's the first legit 'forever' derailleur. Replaceable leverage cam means it'll work with any mechanical shifter out there - so you pick whatever your fingies like, totally rebuildable with reasonably priced replacement parts, works with UDH and conventional hangers, has a user rebuildable one-way clutch with adjustable friction, the list goes on. It's designed to do it's job, forever. I call the JAB the single most impressive piece of kit I've seen in years.

A Week of Bowhead Adaptive MTB at Crankworx Whistler 2025
Every time I see a Bowhead on the trails, my jaw drops at the engineering involved. The rigs are just incredible.

Review: Giro's New Montaro III Helmet
As someone who's partner suffered a major head injury on a mellow day in the mountains that resulted in lifelong impacts on her ability to work - $215 is a damn bargain if it has even a chance of avoiding a head injury. Best helmet on Virginia Tech's rankings that fits my head, replaced regularly depending on crashes. I can't afford a head injury like my partner's.

First Ride: The Crossworx Dash 290 Shines on Steep Climbs
I'd really like to see a video of the suspension going through its travel - it's not super clear to me how the linkage operates. Dig the look of the bike though.
