RockShox Pike RCT3 Boost 160mm

$425 GBP
For sale I have this new RockShox Pike fork, it's the RCT3 version, with 160mm travel, and Boost hub spacing (110 x 15 with Maxle Ultimate). I've changed my mind about the project I was going to build, therefore am offering here. I got as far as fitting the fork to the frame, therefore cutting the steerer down to 185mm and installing the star nut. The fork was bought as a 150mm version and fitted with a 160mm airshaft from new. Reason for sale is I took the plunge and went for a Lyrik instead. Retail boxed, and includes the unopened spare seal kit and stealth decals. Happy to post via Parcel Force for an additional £7.50, or collection for Edinburgh welcome.

RockShox Pike RCT3, 160mm Travel, Solo Air

$325 GBP
For sale I have this 27.5" / 650b RockShox Pike fork, with 160mm of travel. It's the RCT3 version so features more adjustability (than the RC version) and the Charger damper. This was purchased new and fitted to my Trance Advanced 1. However due to the birth of our son in June, I've not had much time for cycling, meaning it's not seen much use. The steerer is tapered and approx 185mm long, star nut fitted. The Maxle Ultimate axle is included. The fork is non-Boost for 100x15mm wheels. The fork was bought as a 150mm version and fitted with a 160mm airshaft from new. The fork is buttery smooth, and the only damage I can see worth mentioning (and which I'll photograph) is a few very small paint chips around the air cap (I removed this once to install two Bottomless Tokens which the fork will come supplied with), and a couple of scratches to the stickers on the lowers. However I will also include a new set of replacement decals which I haven't gotten around to fitting yet. The fork has always been used with a Marsh Guard to protect the stanchions & seals. Happy to post these for an additional £7.50 via Parcel Force, or collection from Edinburgh welcome.

RockShox Pike RCT3 Boost 150mm

$475 GBP
For sale I have this brand new boxed RockShox Pike RCT3, for 27.5" / 650b Boost (15mm x 110mm) wheels and with 150mm travel. Ordered a few months ago but due to three delays in delivery, I ordered a fork elsewhere, and now have this for sale. It's brand new in it's retail packaging, the tapered steerer tube is uncut and comes with star nut and bottomless tokens. Maxle Ultimate included. Because it's the Boost spacing, I believe you can run slightly wider (27.5+) tyres as an option, something I had intended trying. Collection from Edinburgh, or UK postage at cost (£7.50 uninsured, or feel free to arrange your own carraige from someone like www.parcel2go.com). Thanks for looking.

Giant Trance Advanced 1

$600 GBP
For sale I have a Giant Trance Advanced 1 frame & shock, size Medium. This is a little over a year old, but due to becoming a daddy earlier in the year it's really not seen much use, hence selling it and some other bits and pieces to focus my efforts elsewhere. It has been extremely well cared for since new, I sent it to Invisiframe to have one of their frame protection kits fitted from new, and currently only one small area is starting to lift (on the wishbone which joins the seats stays with the chain stays, it's very minor). "Advanced" indicates Giant's composite framesets, and so features a carbon front triangle and aluminium rear triangle. It's very light and stiff, easily better than the carbon Mondraker Foxy I had before it (in my opinion). The Maestro system used by Giant is very close to the DW Link and VPP (or Mondrakers Zero) suspension multi-link designs, and as such pedal bob is pretty much non-existent. Works very well whilst retaining plushness. The shock is a Fox Float Factory unit featuring the EVOL aircan - again this has been very impressive. I will leave the headset and bottom bracket installed in the frame, and also supply the rear DT axle (142x12mm). There is no damage to the frame, I would only note one small stone chip on the bottom of the bottom bracket area (I'll take a pic of this) which has gone through the Invisiframe and looks like it's gone into the lacquer. There are minor marks from the chain on the inside of the right hand rear axle area, and near the chain ring - just the usual - these can be seen in the images. The frame will require a fork with a tapered steerer, with travel in the 140mm - 150mm range (I think it would take a 160mm fork but 150mm feels spot on). New Trance Advanced frames tend to go for about £2000 - £2300 on eBay from international sellers, they're not available as a separate item in the UK (just the aluminium version); the current Trance Advanced 1 is a £4199 bike!! For the avoidance of doubt the sale includes the frame, shock and rear axle only. I will leave the bottom bracket in place, the bearings on this feel fine. I will also leave the headset too - the bearings on this are feeling a little stiff but they feel fine and rotate freely in use so certainly don't need replacing yet. The seat post and brakes are not part of the sale and have been removed. I applied self adhesive Velcro to the chain stay to combat chain slap, but I also have the unused Giant rubber chain stay protector which will be included. Collection from Edinburgh or happy to acquire packaging materials and post.
