2025 Pinkbike Awards: Innovation of the Year Nominees
@nordictallrider: I pulled the trigger on some Tairin Silent Shogun (silent pawl) wheels for my most recent build. I haven't been able to ride due to snow cover but the "garage test" doesn't point to any immediate flaws. They freewheel forever without the pawl drag. An unintended consequence is that you will be chasing down brake rub because that's the only sound you'll hear now. I will try to put up a review once I have had some ride time on them.
